What do you do when you don’t have long to live and there is nothing left to lose? For the woman (played by Joke Tjalsma) in Drift, it is now or never. To feel some excitement, she goes to a mysterious place from her childhood where she was strictly forbidden to go as a child. Because:
“Things are happening there that are not suitable for your eyes.” Does she dare to ‘drift’, amidst illegal street races, shady passers-by, and fogged-up car windows, or is she held back by her own idea of decency?
